Nyquil Liquicaps
A Review by Jessica McCartney

I am (I am told), a hypochondriac.  My mother says that when I'm famous (which Chris assures me is 'right around the corner') she'll have to describe my childhood as "sickly", which I'm not looking forward to.  That being said, I have to say that I've tried almost every cold and flu medicine on the market, so I feel qualified to pass judgement on Nyquil Liquicaps.

I bought Nyquil Liquicaps because I love the effects of Nyquil but hate the taste of both the red AND the green liquid.  PLUS, no matter how hard you try, there's always some sort of sticky residue left in the provided plastic cup and the cap then gets sticky and the next time you have a cold you start swearing, and eventually you just start drinking the Nyquil right out of the bottle,

Once, when I took liquid Nyquil, the phone rang and I accidently joined the army, and I'm proud to report that did NOT happen under the influence of the Liquicaps.

hence taking too much and getting a tummy ache.  Sadly, I was not as satisfied with the Liquicaps as I anticipated I would be.  Aside from the fact that they are GIGANTIC, and I mean GRAPE SIZE, you don't get the immediate knockout and warm feeling that you get with doing a shot of standard Nyquil.  BUT, if you're not into that warm, tingly aftershock, the Liquicaps DO indeed clear your stuffy head, calm your aches and coughing and allow you to rest.  (I had no fever, so I can't speak to that).

The positive effects of Nyquil Liquicaps are similar to those of the Liquid formula.  You get an amplified sense of touch and things sound very far away.  I was in my bed, half asleep with Wyatt Earp on the television, licking my bottom lip and opening and closing my mouth for a good twenty minutes, just because it felt good…and the next day, I couldn't stop touching my eyebrows.  Once, when I took liquid Nyquil, the phone rang and I accidently joined the army, and I'm proud to report that did NOT happen under the influence of the Liquicaps.

So, in conclusion, Liquicaps may not get you as HIGH as the standard Nyquil Liquid, but it may keep you out of Kosovo.
